My original IDEAL girls, (from the early 1970's) from left to right:

(Posin) Tressy, Kerry, (Moovin Groovin) Crissy, (Brownette) Crissy, Velvet, Mia, and (Posin) Cricket . Tressy and Cricket were Sears Exclusives. The dolls are 17 1/2" and 16" tall. Not pictured, I also have a 14 inch tall Cinnamon.

3 of my vintage Mattel girls from the 60's and 70's, dressed for Easter. (Sorry, I need an updated photo that also includes Dancerina.)

Left to Right:

Chatty Cathy first issue prototype doll in red outfit, Swingy in first issue pink & white dots, Chatty Cathy #1 doll (technically 2nd issue) in blue dress. I will list outfit names, later. These were 2 of the issue outfits that came on the dolls. They were also sold seperately, I believe.

My Ellowyne Wilde  dolls, by Tonner/Wilde Imagination, from left to right, in their original issue outfits:

Top row: (Ellowynes) A Case of the Blues (wearing a wig), Adrift, Always Playing Solitaire, and Red to Lift Her Mood

Hasbro/Tomy girls from the mid 1980's. I have more, now... I need a new photo! The Hasbro girls, part of Hasbro's "My Beautiful Doll" series,  all had "stories" associated with them, whereas Kimberly was always athletic.  Left to right:

Hasbro-Valerie,the Flower Girl;  Tomy-Kimberly,the Cheerleader; and  Hasbro-Marissa, the Piano Recital; all dressed in their original issue outfits.
